Jenna has been a valued member of Duffy and Simon for the past four years. She began her career in the reception area and has impressively advanced to her current position as a Conveyancing Assistant. Jenna's dedication and meticulous attention to detail make her an integral part of the team. She plays a crucial role in supporting our conveyancers with property sales and purchases.

Thanks to Jenna's support, our clients experience seamless transactions, whether they are buying or selling property. Her friendly demeanor and commitment to excellence ensure that every client receives the best possible service.

In her spare time, she cherishes moments with her husband and her dog, Bailey. Although she has a passion for dance, she has now embraced Pilates, which she enjoys doing with her mom. Additionally, she has a great love for baking.

Kristie has dedicated a total of 16 years to Duffy and Simon, becoming an essential member of the conveyancing team. She plays a vital role in supporting our Senior Conveyancers with property development projects. Her unparalleled knowledge and expertise ensure that our development projects proceed seamlessly.

Kristie's unwavering dedication and meticulous attention to detail make her an essential member of the team. Her approachable nature and commitment to excellence guarantee that every client receives top-notch service.

In her spare time, Kristie cherishes moments with her husband and two children. She enjoys playing netball and immersing herself in a good book.

Before Cynthia completed her Bachelor of Laws degree in Australia, she had already earned both a Bachelor and Master of Laws in the Netherlands. During her time in the Netherlands, Cynthia worked for six years as a Senior Associate to Judges at the Court of Appeal in The Hague. In this role, she was responsible for researching case law and legislation to aid in judicial decision-making. She also drafted various legal documents and actively participated in chamber discussions and the decision-making process.

Upon moving to Australia, Cynthia managed to balance her passion for law with her love of dressage. While running a successful high-level dressage business, she pursued and completed her Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University. Her hard work and dedication culminated in her admission to practice Australian law in late 2025.

Outside of her professional life, Cynthia enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, riding her horses, and competing in dressage.

Kira graduated from ACU with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in 2023. After completing her Professional Legal Training with the College of Law, she was admitted to practice in early 2024.

Prior to finishing her degree, Kira worked as a Law Clerk with Duffy & Simon where she worked closely with the Family Law team. Her exceptional eye for detail and kind and caring nature makes her a great fit for working with clients. She brings a thoughtful and empathetic approach to her work, ensuring that her clients feel heard and supported.

In her free time, Kira enjoys spending time helping on her parents’ farm, hiking, and exploring new places.

Paul began his legal career several years ago as a Law Clerk, assisting in various areas of law including Intervention Orders, Criminal Law, Civil Litigation and Family Law.

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University in 2019 and was subsequently admitted as a lawyer in mid-2020.

With a strong commitment to helping clients navigate the most challenging period of their lives, Paul is passionate about advocating on their behalf to reach desirable, pragmatic and cost-effective outcomes.

Paul has built a reputation for being approachable, detail-oriented, and focused on providing clear advice tailored to each client’s needs.

In Paul’s spare time, you can find him at either local cafes or on the badminton court.

A Principal of the firm, Sandra is an accomplished Family lawyer with extensive experience in all areas of family law including property settlements, parenting matters, financial agreements, divorce applications, child support matters, and spousal maintenance.

Sandra is committed to supporting her clients with practical and innovative solutions to resolve property matters expeditiously and to negotiating parenting arrangements in the best interest of the children. Sandra also provides advice and has experience in relation to intervention orders and criminal matters.

Bringing the compassion and sensitivity required, Sandra applies her in-depth knowledge and understanding of dispute resolutions in a pragmatic way advising on financial agreements both prior to, during and following the breakdown of a relationship or marriage.

Sandra has a long history of providing competent and invaluable family law advice along with solid advocacy skills, supporting a strong representation at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in property and children’s matters.

Saydaal’s passion for law initiated at the tender age of 6, inspired by his uncle’s career in Law. Over the years, his commitment to the profession has only grown stronger, driven by a desire to enhance equality and fairness within the community. These values have been the cornerstone of his pursuit of a legal career, guiding him through his academic and professional endeavours.

Saydaal graduated from Deakin University in 2024 completing a double degree in a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Politics and International Relations and was admitted to practice in early 2025.

During his university years Saydaal worked in a criminal law clinic where he was able to gain a wide range of exposure within the legal domain. He followed on to then undertake the Duffy & Simon Clerkship, which led him to being offered a permanent position as a Graduate Lawyer, specialising in Commercial and Corporate Law before being admitted.

Outside of the professional realm, Saydaal loves to watch and play soccer. Saydaal has been a continuous and lifelong member of the Hampton Park United Sparrows. He also loves to travel and explore the world, putting a heavy emphasis on both immersing himself and learning of different cultures.

Nicholas completed a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University. He joined Duffy & Simon, while still an undergraduate, as a Law Clerk and has since graduated and admitted to practice in July 2022.

He covers a broad range of legal areas including Commercial Litigation, Retirement Villages, Debt Recovery and Sale and Purchase of Businesses.

Outside of work Nicholas has a deep passion for music, having played the drums in bands since a very young age. He is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to tennis, basketball, and AFL.

Nicholas is also a volunteer director on the board of directors for “Our Community Company Ltd” where he helps with the running of the Community Bank Branches in Lang Lang, Koo Wee Rup, Pearcedale, Tooradin and Narre Warren South.

Prior to completing her law degree, Myf accumulated 20 years of experience in law reform, regulation and advocacy in the areas of health and human rights law, making submissions to State and Commonwealth government inquiries and presenting internationally at the United Nations. Her work contributed to the passage of world-first amendments to the Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Act in 2016, known as ‘Narelle’s Law’.

Myf now applies her advocacy and negotiation skills to obtaining favourable outcomes for clients across a broad range of matters, including building and construction contractual advice and disputes, civil litigation, compulsory land acquisitions, governance and regulatory compliance, property, planning and environment issues.

Myf grew up and lives locally, she endeavours to utilise her knowledge of the area building strong relationships with clients and the wider community. Outside of work, Myf enjoys visual art and design, live music and spending time with her family and friends.

Damien brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge across a broad spectrum of legal fields, including commercial, property, and litigation law. His versatile experience spans from handling large property transactions to facilitating the sale and purchase of businesses, land acquisitions, and managing the complex legalities within your business. Committed to delivering clear and professional legal advice, Damien is dedicated to tirelessly pursuing the best outcomes for his clients.

Through his honest and client-centered approach, Damien forges strong connections with his clients, building trust and gaining athorough understanding of their situations. As a clear and effective communicator, he simplifies complex legal issues, making them understandable for clients and aiding them in achieving their desired results.

Deeply community-oriented, Damien represents numerous local associations, offers seminars to local organisations on key legal topics, and undertakes several pro bono cases each year. Beyond his legal practice, Damien actively participates in local school and community fundraising events, contributing both at the general assistance and committee levels. Furthermore, he serves on the board of Newhaven College, reflecting his commitment to community development and education.

With experience across a broad range of legal areas, Adam provides a commercial, client focused approach to his matters. Adam has experience in assisting clients with both Retail and Commercial Leasing matters including Leases disputes as well litigation of civil disputes across a broad range of matters in various jurisdictions.

Having gained valuable experience in large scale domestic and international litigation through his career, Adam has been able to assist his clients reach desirable outcomes from the Victoria Civil and Administrative Tribunal through to the Supreme Court of Victoria in Court, whilst helping his clients understand and manage the stress of litigation. Adam’s goal with his clients is to deliver great outcomes while adopting a personal approach. He strives to establish great rapport and long-standing relationships with all his clients.

Adam relocated to Pakenham in 2013 and has since become an integral part of the local community. He takes immense pride in his involvement, notably serving as a board member of the Pakenham Racing Club. Beyond his community contributions, Adam is a devoted family man, raising three young children alongside his wife. Adam has a keen interest in the outdoors and regularly goes fishing and camping with his friends and children. Adam also takes any opportunity he can to get out on the golf course.

With over 10 years working within the legal industry, Danielle came to the Duffy & Simon team with a wealth of knowledge in the various facets of conveyancing.

Studying a Bachelor of Criminology and Justice Danielle started her career as a legal secretary during her final year of studies. Working on matters within Family law, and Wills and Estates, she developed her love for the law.

After completion of her degree, she begun working as a conveyancer across Subdivisions, Partition Agreements, Deeds of Novation, Residential Conveyancing, Commercial Conveyancing, Complex Conveyancing matters, Matrimonial Transfers, Deceased Estates.

Out of the office Danielle has two young children and a husband that she loves to spend time with as well as a love for baking, listening to podcasts and going on family adventures.

Esha came to Duffy & Simon as an experienced, bilingual conveyancer, having studied law in both her country of origin, Sri Lanka, and in Australia. She is well respected by her clients, as well as her colleagues, bringing a wealth of knowledge and commitment to the team.

Esha has many achievements, having studied in two different countries, meaning she has more than 10 years of in-field experiences in multiple places. Having studied at RMIT, she was awarded the ‘Ellen Dickson Memorial Award (Advanced Diploma of Legal Practice)’, for achieving the highest academic results in her diploma.

Outside of work, Esha enjoys spending quality time with her three sons. She is also an active volunteer for the Cranbourne Food Truck, which supports the local community by providing meals to those in need.

Tammy has over 40 years’ experience in conveyancing, with the past 25 years working at Duffy & Simon. Tammy has extensive knowledge of all facets of conveyancing matters from complex conveyancing matters, residential, commercial, industrial, rural, developments, easements, removal of easements, Section 173 agreements to land tax objections.

Tammy thrives on providing the best possible advice, care, and professional services to all clients of the firm.

In Tammy’s downtime, she enjoys travelling, reading, walking and spending time with her family and her 4 grandchildren.

Melanie comes to Duffy & Simon with extensive knowledge after working in the legal industry for over 20 years. She began her career as a legal secretary before transitioning to a paralegal and then into her current role as a Conveyancer.

Melanie works across many principals of conveyancing including residential, commercial, industrial, rural, plans of subdivision andrelated party transfers. Melanie is well-regarded by both her clients and her colleagues and is dedicated to ensuring your transaction be as smooth as possible.

In her down-time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her children, walks out in nature, reading (Jodi Picoult is her favourite author) and dinner out with friends and family.

Tamara has been working in the legal industry for 20 years. Beginning her career in 2006 as a paralegal she began working mostly in the field of property, conveyancing, wills, and probate while dabbling in other areas such as family law, commercial, insurance and litigation on occasion too. However, since commencing with Duffy & Simon in 2016 Tamara moved solely into a specific conveyancing only role.

Tamara specialises in residential conveyancing, transfers between spouses, family law transfer, off the plan purchases, commercial conveyancing and PEXA transactions and loves to ensure that each client has a friendly, enjoyable, and stress-free experience.

Outside of work Tamara loves spending time with her husband, two children and cavoodle. Much of her time away from the office is spent as a “dance mum” for her daughters and their calisthenics club, organising events and managing children and teenagers. Tamara and her family live on acreage in Gembrook so she also enjoys spending much of her time outdoors and then snuggling up in front of the fire with a good book. Tamara is Vice President of her local school council too.

Kristie is a valued and long-term member of Duffy & Simon. Kristie is well regarded by her clients for her advice, assistance and direction in complicated conveyancing transactions, from contract preparation through to settlement. Kristie’s broad experience ranges from residential conveyancing through to complicated matters involving related parties, self-managed superannuation funds and subdivision.

Kristie has a strong community focus, being responsible for organising the Annual Cancer Council Morning Tea within the firm, fundraising for Oxfam by completing the 100km Oxfam Trail Walk 2018, taking up the role of team manager in the local junior football team, and working with numerous charities in the local area. Kristie is also an enthusiast of classic cars, running and cooking.

Don, the esteemed founder of Duffy & Simon, boasts an impressive legacy with over 50 years of experience in the legal field. With a solid grounding in Property Law, Will and Estate Planning and Business Law, Don provides decisive and thoughtful leadership on property subdivisions, developments, property sales and estate planning including the preparation of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Don has a wide range of experience in complex commercial matters covering areas such as the sale and purchase of businesses, leases, business structure, asset protection and providing a legal outcome his clients can build upon, so they can take their business to the next level.

With significant experience in the area of complex property transactions and subdivisions, Don has advised and provided guidance to successful property developers, including properties carrying significant environmental issues.

Don is an active member of the local community, acting for several schools in the area and providing advice on a broad range of issues including corporate governance through to contractual disputes and enrolment issues. Don is a former committee man of the Pakenham Racing Club with over three decades of service including fifteen years as the Chairman and is the trustee of a number of charitable and not for profit trusts.

Kylie has over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry. Over that time, she has built up skills and knowledge in the area of Probate and Estate administration, including various types of applications for a Grant of Representation and re-seal of interstate Grants of Probate.

Kylie has an extensive knowledge of the law and procedures in relation deceased Estate administration and has prepared and completed many varied complex applications and estate matters.   Her approach to dealing with these matters is professional and practical whilst keeping in mind the sensitive and compassionate nature of dealing with clients in this area of law.

Her aim is to provide a service that alleviates the stress of dealing with the process of administration of a deceased estate, particularly with various organisations when collecting estate assets, dealing with liabilities and all other organisations relating to completion of administration so that the client can be relieved of such tasks at this most difficult time in his or her life.

Kylie is a local to the Berwick area having lived there for many years and having 3 children who have grown up in the area.  Kylie has been involved in assisting at various local junior sporting clubs in the community. Her interests include walking and staying active, reading and spending time with family.

Jessie graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Jessie’s dedication to her local community acts as a powerful motivator in her career, driven by her desire to make a meaningful impact close to home. She predominantly practices in the areas of Wills, Estates and Probate.

Jessie assists clients throughout the estate planning process, routinely providing advice to individuals and families and preparing Wills and Trust Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney (Financial & Personal) and Medical Treatment Decision Makers.

She specialises in estate administration, particularly Probate, Letters of Administration and the distribution of Estates. She understands that this is an emotional and difficult time and always provides advice and assistance in a respectful and compassionate manner.

Jessie also assists clients in contesting Wills and defending these claims, seeking the removal of Executors and protecting Executors against any claim made against them. Having acted on both sides of these matters, Jessica not only has experience, but a well-rounded understanding of these disputes.

Jessie also has experience in the VCAT Administration and Guardianship List, particularly Administration Orders, Guardianship Orders and the resolution of disputes.

Outside of the office, Jessie cherishes her time with family and friends, explores the outdoors with her dogs Archie and Harry, and unwinds through reading and music.

Having completed a double degree in Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, Andrew was admitted to practice in early 2021 and has been quick to make his mark within the Duffy & Simon team.

Andrew specialises in estate planning matters, including drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Medical Treatment Decision Makers. He has a passion for helping individuals, couples and families work through the complexities of their estate planning, including advising on asset structure and succession planning, blended family arrangements, businesses, discretionary trusts, superannuation and minimising the risk of claims against estates.

Andrew also specialises in estate administration and disputes. He routinely advises Executors and Administrators with applications for Grants of Probate, Letters of Administration and the distribution and finalisation of estates.  Andrew has a wealth of experience with estate litigation and disputes (including contesting Wills and defending these claims). Andrew focuses on adopting a commercial and pragmatic approach to assist clients achieve their desired outcomes, but still approaches the matter with compassion, empathy and an understanding of the emotional difficulties that arise in these types of matters.

Andrew also has experience in the VCAT Administration and Guardianship list, dealing with applications for new or existing Administration Orders and disputes.

Outside of work Andrew loves music and has played the drums since the age of 12.

With experience in commercial law, litigation and disputes, employment law and wills and estates, Matthew provides a commercial and practical approach to his clients on the sale and purchases of businesses, residential and retail leases, debt recovery and employment law matters. Matthew has also acted in complex commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions including the Supreme Court of Victoria advising his clients on their contractual and common law rights whilst guiding his clients through the complex and stressful Court process.

After growing up in the local area and through his close community ties, Matthew aims to assist his clients in understanding their business model, key drivers and motivations, whilst building long lasting relationships, helping Matthew to deliver to his client’s their desired outcome.

Matthew is an active member in the local community, with long standing memberships at the Berwick Football Club and Woodlands Golf Club. Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and when he gets a chance loves to get on the golf course and stay active out in the great outdoors.

Andrew works in the areas of commercial contracts, sales of business, corporate & individual succession planning, property development, estate litigation and trusts.

He has worked in these areas since being admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1993. He was also admitted to the High Court of Australia in 1996.

Andrew has over the years advised some of the wealthiest families in the country in areas such as succession planning, trusts, corporate structuring and estate litigation. He also advises and acts for the Roman Catholic Trusts Corporation for the Diocese of Sale, the Bishop of Sale and the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited.

In previous positions Andrew was a Senior Associate at Maddocks as well as Senior Counsel with the National Australia Bank Ltd.

As part of his community service Andrew has held Board and Advisory roles with St. Patrick’s Primary School (Chair and member), Pakenham, Gippsland Community College (Chair and member), Warragul and St. Joseph’s College, Newtown. He is currently the Chair of St Joseph’s College Foundation Committee. He was also heavily involved with local surf lifesaving (Apollo Bay SLSC) and the Victorian Surf Lifesaving Association where he was Chief Investigative Officer as well as a member of the Constitutional and Judicial Boards.

Andrew’s interests include viticulture, cricket (currently Andrew is President of the Jan Juc Cricket Club), rugby league and reading.

Throughout his 50-year legal career, Edwin has focused on commercial law, property law and subdivisions, probates and Estate Planning, with a comprehensive knowledge in and understanding of conveyancing, local government, retirement villages and aged care matters.

Edwin’s unique background as the first Mayor of the Cardinia Shire and former Councillor of the Cardinia and Pakenham Shires, has given him the advantage of explicit local knowledge that he applies to assist his clients with subdivision applications, land acquisitions, planning and environmental issues and property developments.

As an accomplished commercial lawyer, Edwin has extensiveexperience in property subdivisions, direct and indirect taxation consequencesand business planning. Edwin is an effective communicator, who believes in hardwork to achieve the best outcome for his clients.

With a focus on family and community, Edwin is proud of his long association within the local community, his involvement with local sporting clubs including life member at the NNG Football Club and former Chairman and Board Member of Outlook Inc – a not-for-profit organisation catering for the needs of the disadvantaged for 26 years (from 1998 – 2024).
