‘Warnings about coronavirus are causing a surge in the number of wills being written, amended or scrapped’ reported the Australian Financial Review late last week.
The worldwide pandemic has caused many of our clients to review their personal affairs, including their Wills and Powers of Attorney, to ensure that their personal affairs are in order. This is crucial not only in the event of a tragic outcome from falling ill, but also to ensure that if medical intervention is necessary, there are valid and effective medical and financial documents prepared.
There are difficulties now associated with witnessing certain documents, however we are able to assist existing and new clients in creating Wills that are binding, and to assist in preparing both financial and medical Powers of Attorney.
Please contact our office to arrange an appointment to discuss your estate planning, so that you may have certainty that your affairs are in order during this difficult time.
